Lost Beyond was inspired by a photo of model Jessie D Luna. This rich Victorian Gothic atmosphere is contrasted with the bleakness of death, found in the stone walls and tombs around her. It takes its name from a song of the same title by melodic metal band Fairie's Death Waltz. In the song, however, the maiden does not know she has died and cries out against those who seemingly ignore her cruelly. Is that what is happening here? Or is the girl one of the mourners at the funeral?
